Christian Family Services Selects Jerry Callens as New Executive
Director

After an exhaustive search, the Executive Board of Christian
Family Services (CFS) has selected Jerry D. Callens as its Executive
Director. Mr. Callens comes to CFS from Tallahassee, Florida,
where he most recently served as the Family Life Minister for the
Timberlane church of Christ.
Mr. Callens holds a B.S. and B.A. degree from Mississippi
State University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Florida
State University.
Jerry was a pilot for the United States Air Force before entering
the ministry. He has served as a minister and associate
minister for several congregations and brings over 20 years of
experience in counseling.
Jerry and his wife Debbie, also a social worker, have been
married thirty years and have two adult
daughters.
Speaking for the Executive Board, President Jesse
Wilson said, "We're pleased to have Jerry on board in the Executive
Director position. We anticipate continued success and growth
in carrying out the mission of Christian Family Services, which
remains unchanged. Jerry is a great asset for that
work."
